A teacher training is not filled with people who can effortlessly float into and out of handstand. It’s filled with regular people with regular challenges who share a love of yoga. We learn that, when shared properly, yoga is for everyone, not just super the bendy or those who defy gravity.
If you’ve ever wanted to teach or even if you just want to learn more about Yoga, HOME’s 200-Hour Teacher Training will deepen your asana practice and understanding of Yoga philosophy as well as give you the skills to share your love of yoga with others.
This comprehensive program covers all aspects of yoga with a special emphasis on:
precise alignment
intelligent and safe sequencing
anatomy as it relates to asana
yoga philosophy, meditation and yoga nidra
articulate, clear instruction.
Students will also learn aspects of:
Restorative yoga
Iyengar yoga
Ashtanga yoga
Yin yoga
Beginners yoga
The training will cover in depth the sustainability for a long-term alignment-based vinyasa practice, while also exploring various traditions including Iyengar, Ashtanga, Restorative, Yin, Beginners and Prenatal yoga.
Eager and curious students will have the opportunity to delve deeper into the true meaning of Yoga so that they can then impart their knowledge with confidence to others.

Home Yoga in Andover really does feel like “Home” in that I finally found a place that has blended all of my 20 years experience doing different types of yoga into the perfect practice. It combines the principles of proper alignment with a flow that requires mindfulness and core strength. It is this strict attention to mindfulness that brings you deeper into your practice at Home Yoga. All of the teachers at Home Yoga inspire a sense of community and commitment that automatically moves you to keep reaching higher and deeper levels in your practice.

HOME Yoga’s Teacher Training Program was an extremely rewarding and transformative experience. The curriculum was highly engaging and broken down in a way that made it digestible and accessible. We dove deeply into many concepts while building a foundation of safe and proper alignment and intelligent sequencing. Kristin’s instruction is truly unparalleled, and I am grateful I was able to train with her. The program allowed my own practice to blossom, which I believe will make me a more confident instructor. I feel prepared to safely and intelligently educate students in their practice and would highly recommend the training to all students and teachers alike.

What a truly wonderful program! Kristin’s Teacher Training at Home Yoga has greatly enriched my knowledge and experience of yoga which will serve me as both a teacher and a student.
Kristin created a supportive and rigorous environment that encouraged us to think deeply, participate actively, ask questions and be unafraid to share our experiences. As we covered the many important aspects of teaching – alignment, sequencing, philosophy, anatomy and assisting – we were immediately given opportunities to integrate the knowledge and apply it. Each training weekend was structured to encourage us to work hard (and we did!), yet we left feeling invigorated. It says so much about Kristin’s gift as a teacher that she is able to deliver a detailed, thoughtful training program, while simultaneously creating a supportive and close-knit community.
I will greatly miss our training weekends together, and am so grateful to have been part of this very special program.

I have inconsistently dabbled in Yoga for over 40 years. I wanted to become trained to be a Yoga teacher and I was fortunate enough to become a student of Kristin Olson at Andover Home Yoga. She is a patient, smart, knowledgeable, respectful, challenging, inspiring, human(e), kind, and thorough teacher. She gracefully and directly led students with 20+ years of strong practice, and those of us who were barely at novice level (me), with insights and instruction that educated us all. Her cues in our practice, and her instructions in class, felt like they were directed to inform and direct me personally. Her understanding of the Sutras is awakening, and her practice and leading of Asanas are mindful and present. I continue to be her student, and will start teaching Yoga within the next 6-8 weeks. I am thankful she is my Yoga teacher. She made this training a life changing experience for me.

The 200-hour yoga teacher training at HOME yoga was one of the most incredible and fulfilling experiences of my life. I learned so much about myself, and made life-long friends who I will always cherish. Kristin and the other amazing teachers at HOME have devoted themselves to making a safe, welcoming, and loving environment to everyone. Safety is the top priority at the studio and in the training, which was clear when we were learning how to practice and teach alignment-based flow. I feel prepared to safely guide students through their practice after the education I received at HOME. Kristin is one of the most intelligent and eloquent teachers I have ever met, and I feel so privileged to have been able to practice with her and learn from her. HOME yoga will always be my second home, and I’m so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community.
